Privacy Policy for Lughat

Lughat respects your privacy. This extension is designed to help users save and review selected words with their meanings while browsing the web.

Data Collection

Lughat collects only the text content of a word explicitly selected by the user when they choose the “Save to Lughat” option from the right-click menu. No data is collected automatically or in the background.

Lughat does not collect:

• Personally identifiable information
• Authentication data
• Financial or payment information
• Location data
• Browsing history
• User activity or behavior data

Data Usage

The selected words and their meanings are used solely to:

• Save them to the user’s personal vocabulary list
• Allow the user to review saved words later

All data is stored locally in the user’s browser using Chrome’s storage API.

Data Sharing

Lughat does not share, sell, or transmit any user data to third parties.

No data is sent to external servers.
